Reonda Washington (she/her/hers) contributes to Inclusion Education as the Health Equity Data Analyst. Reonda started her time at UW-Madison working at University Health Services in 2013. She enjoys working with students around health literacy, navigating and understanding the complexities of health issues and how it impacts students, and helping students shape their narrative around how health issues impact them. Color of Drinking, a study of the impacts of alcohol culture on students of color, was developed at UW-Madison and is one of Washington’s proudest achievements. It came from UW-Madison students, and elevated the voices of marginalized students. Outside of her work, Washington enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, and baking (her salted caramel brownies are a favorite among her colleagues).
